Install into ChatGPT

ChatGPT only talks to remote HTTPS MCP servers (not local stdio). Use the published Maya endpoint below with a Bearer token from an Anamaya operator.

Requirements

  • ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, or Edu
  • Developer Mode enabled (custom connectors)
  • Maya API token (MAYA_MCP_API_TOKEN)

Steps

  1. Open ChatGPT → Settings → Connectors (or Security and login on some builds).
  2. Enable Developer Mode under Advanced / custom connectors. Accept the third-party tools warning.
  3. Choose Add custom connector (or Create).
  4. Fill in:
    • Name: Maya Travel AI
    • Description: Persona/SPEC PRs + dual CI for Maya
    • Connector URL: https://maya.suherman.net/mcp/v1
    • Authentication: Token / API key — paste your Bearer token (ChatGPT sends it as Authorization: Bearer …)
  5. Save, then start a new chat and enable the Maya connector/tools.
  6. Smoke test: ask ChatGPT to call maya_deploy_status or maya_persona_get for product/personas.md.

ChatGPT confirms write actions. Still require confirm: true on Maya mutate tools, and never auto-merge PRs — humans merge on GitHub.

If the connector fails

  • Confirm health: curl -sS https://maya.suherman.net/mcp/v1/health
  • Confirm auth: curl -sS -H "Authorization: Bearer $TOKEN" -X POST https://maya.suherman.net/mcp/v1
  • Use Streamable HTTP URL /mcp/v1, not the docs page /mcp.
  • Workspace admins may need to allow custom connectors.
